OIL/WATER SEPARATORS
Oil/Water Separators combine three stage interception with a vertical tube coalescing separation system. This makes it easy to use and service, less labour intensive and cost effective.
- Stage One is the flow diffusion section where turbulence is controlled whilst mixed oil and water is distributed into the separation section.
- Stage Two is the separation section, containing the unique vertical tube collection/separation system.
- Stage Three is the water collection, flow control and discharge section.
The random tube matrix system used in an ideal means of providing laminar flow for proper oil water separation. Small droplets are attracted to the polyethylene material in the separation section and once attached, they provide increased surface area to the tubes while attracting other smaller oil droplets.
Safe-Waste separators have been specifically designed to provide continuous free flow of oil and water mix within a controlled separating, non turbulant environment. Safe-Waste separation systems do not require addition of detergents or degreasers for active separation, therefore oil need not be contaminated during the process.
The Safe-Waste coalescing system is fully automatic and will remove oil droplets as small as 20 microns while maintaining effluent quality as low as 10ppm.
